Dear Sirs,
I am a senior project and financial controller with 20 years experience in multinational companies and in international organisation. After 20 years in ESA (European Space Agency) I am looking for new challenging environments:
- I have been working 20 years in the project and financial controlling and in the program management in the IT and Space environment;
- I have excellent competences in Budget, Procurement, Risk Assessment, Outsourcing and Quality management;
- I know IPSAS since I have been project controller of ESA Financial Reform aimed to introduce new financial policies and software according to IPSAS standards and changing completely the financial working style in ESA;
- I spent 10 years living around Europe (studied in Switzerland and worked in The Netherlands and in France) and I am quite skilled on European cultural modus vivendi;
- I worked in international organizations (mainly ESA – European Space Agency) and I am aware of mechanisms, interactions, culture encounters and/or clashes which are typical of such domains and have a sound experience in tackling with these kind of issues;
- I am experienced with SAP Financial Tools and have a knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (financial tool);
- I have a good experience (as per the first part of my career) with training and training environments (I was myself an MCT trainer for a few years around France and United Kingdom);
- I am an experienced professional speaking fluently French and English, with a good knowledge of Spanish, a basic understanding of German and some very basic knowledge of Dutch;

Among my competences there are manpower control, procurement control, financial control.
Some of my tasks: preparing financial work breakdown structures related to the work package groups, monitoring progress of milestones in accordance with the overall work plan and in compliance with budgetary provisions and financial regulations, managing procurement, external suppliers and contract manpower, managing contracts (both technical and manpower in the forms of frame and individual agreements), participating to Call for Tender and TEB (Tender Evaluation Board).
As per reporting I am used to prepare manpower forecast and estimation for my programmes generating and maintaining financial reports, as per in-year and multi-year budget (including EaC and EtC ).
Monitoring and analysing financial and accounting data, identifying and forecasting trends, anomalies or issues, and proposing solutions to management to rectify anomalies or improvement in processes are also part of my daily work.

Since 2009 I started to work with a SAP ad-hoc ESA customised interface mainly related to procurement, financial and budget management. In past years as a quality lead auditor and quality representative I acquired a deep knowledge of Risk and Quality assessment having designed and implemented quality systems from scratch till the certification assessment.
In my job experience, I gained valuable leadership help me in daily negotiation activities in an international environment.
