FINCANTIERI SPA is an Italian shipbuilding company based in Trieste, Italy. It was formed in 1959 and is owned by the Italian Government through Fintecna. Being the largest shipbuilder in Europe, after the acquisition of Vard in 2008 the Fincantieri group doubled its size to become the fourth largest in the world. Fincantieri designs and builds merchant vessels, passenger ships, offshore, and naval vessels, and is also active in the conversion and ship repair sectors. Fincantieri employs a staff of about 10,000 (rising to approximately 20,000 if the supply chain is included) working at eight shipyards, two design centers, one research centre and two production sites for mechanical components.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, I have held the following responsibilities:
• Program management for the Indian Aircraft Carrier P71 propulsion project: together with my team I have planned the propulsion systems project for P71 project (turbo engine: General Electric LM 2500). Communication with the Indian Navy.
• Program Manager for the Italian Aircarft Carrier Cavour Maintenance: Start up, build and support a proper technical network of business partners and relevant logistic steps to sustain the 36 M€ four years contract with the Italian Navy, business and profit growth; provide proper strategies to achieve commercial goals and targets; prepare, review and monitor cost budgets; communication with the

Italian Navy. Lead weekly internal staff meetings to define and achieve commercial and technical targets set with the Company top management
EBITDA for the program margin at 12% all through organic growth and with the same team, introducing a strict control of some parameters and diversifying the business portfolio
• Program Manager for the Rolls Royce and Fincantieri partnership relevant to the project of propulsion system for UK Navy T26 Frigates with Turbo Engine RR MT30 (Planning, Risk analysis, monitoring cost budget,…. )

PIAGGIO AERO INDUSTRIES is a multinational aerospace manufacturing company headquartered in Italy. Piaggio Aero Industries designs, develops, builds and maintains aircrafts, aero-engines and aircraft structural components. It has a subsidiary in the United States (Piaggio America) located at West Palm Beach, Florida.
Its HQ are located in Genova, Finale Ligure (SV), Naples and West Palm Beach, Florida, it employs about 1000 people and has a turnover of about US$ 20 millions.
I have been hired as Junior Project Engineer and developed my career up to the position of assistant to Project Manager and Engineering Manager for some projects.
Reporting both to the Project Manager and to Engineering Director I have been accountable for the following:
• Manage the successful completion of three Turbo Engine Test Cell for the Italian Army (Orio al Serio, Gallipoli and Bracciano for Turbo Engines: Rolls Royce Viper 632 – Rolls Royce Gem 2 Mk 1004 ), from detailed engineering to erection phase, monitoring the project overall progress to insure conformity to scope, cost and schedule;
• Manage Engineering of Engineering, Procurement, Constructions Turn Key projects in aeronautical maintenance turbo engines business sector (i.e. Rolls Royce Model 250 – Pratt & Whitney PT6)

Ho approfondito alcune tematiche e mi sono deciso di iscrivermi a Rousseau dove ho proposto alcune leggi, ho partecipato al Villaggio di Milano del 9 Marzo 2019 e ho fatto il rappresentante di lista alle Elezioni Europee 2019 e alle successive amministrative.
Impegnato da anni nel volontariato locale cattolico. Nel Giu 2017 mi sono candidato alle elezioni comunali di Genova nella Lista Civica Ge9si ottenendo 69 preferenze. Purtroppo la lista non ha superato lo sbarramento del 3% e pertanto non è stato eletto nessun consigliere. Tale esperienza mi ha tuttavia consentito di avvicinarmi al servizio delle Politica, per la quale fino ad allora non nutrivo particolare interesse, e mi ha fatto toccare con mano quanto la gente comune si senta estranea, impotente e non rappresentata, con conseguente scarsa affluenza alle urne che consente l'elezione pressoché costante degli stessi politici di professione votati da alcune centinaia di fedelissimi elettori.
Il mio interesse nato in tale occasione mi ha spinto alla ricerca di ulteriori informazioni verso il Movimento che fino ad allora non conoscevo se non in modo superficiale. Innanzitutto mi è piaciuta la chiarezza dei messaggi, la profondità delle analisi che si trovano sui siti del Movimento, in primis i tutorial, la volontà di coinvolgere tutti i cittadini in modo trasversale e temporaneo perchè i rappresentati non devono diventare dei professionisti. Ho approfondito alcune tematiche e mi sono deciso di iscrivermi a Rousseau dove ho proposto alcune leggi, ho partecipato al Villaggio di Milano del 9 Marzo 2019 e ho fatto il rappresentante di lista alle Elezioni Europee 2019. Molti temi rispecchiano il mio pensiero e credo che il Movimento aperto a tutti i cittadini volenterosi ed entusiasti sia il luogo dove poter mettere a disposizione le mie competenze per futuri progetti. Nel 2023 mi sono trasferito per lavoro a Mumbai dove ho avuto modo, tra l'altro, di conoscere la complessa realtà indiana e ho svolto attività di volontariato presso la missione LSS gestita dal PIME nello slum di Govandi.
